Jean-Stéphane SAUVAIRE
Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire was born the 31st of December 1968. He started his career as the 1st assistant of Cyril Collard, Siegfried, Gaspar Noé, Laetitia Masson before he made his first short film: "La Mule" with Rossy de Palma, which took him in numerous international festivals. In 2003, he directs his first feature-length film, which is actually a documentary feature, "Carlitos Medellin". The film is selected in numerous international festivals too and receives the Best Film Award for the Children Rights at Paris Human Rights Film Festival in 2004. He is now preparing a new feature-length film in Liberia about child soldiers.
